Little summary of the last 4 weeks

After Herman has left the group I will take the blog completion for my part. The last 4 weeks we were busy with the proof of concept and we were aiming to make the sensors ready so we can read out some signals. Herman has made some great results. Special thanks for Herman his work in the project, his extraordinary passion and his help and explanation of some difficulties.

For the new 10 weeks the project Herken de Herhaling got 2 students Technische informatica(Technical informatica), Ronald Reitsema en Erwin Hof. They got busy this 10 weeks with programming of the components where Marijn has left it.
At the beginning this 10 weeks we heard that we not get a new substitute of Herman. So there was extra pressure for Herman to make the sensors ready for use. In the first week of Ronald and Erwin, they managed to get signals from the heartsensor. More information about the heartsensor we will post later or you can come visiting us so we can explain more about it.

After the heartrate sensor was ready to use, we found a solution to fasten the heartsensor in the shirt that we use. The breathingsensor is also ready for use.

Here the result.

8 may we got a symposium where we show our shirt with sensors to people who work with OCD clients.

See y'all next time

Working

Hello,

On the moment we are busy with the sensors. What is possible, can we use is, what do we have to measure and to write the programmcode.
The most time is spend to do research and find the right useable sensors. It include also the communication between the sensors and the central unit. What are the technical specifications of the inputs from the central unit? What are the outputs from de sensors? Can we connect the sensors direct to the central unit of do we have to make a conversion?
Soon some of us visit the Zorg&ICT Expo this week.

For so far,
Herman

Fourth week

Hello,

The post is late, last week we where busy with the sensors, design, semi-kickoff of the project, start to cooperate with the new students and to make agreements. This week there is research of sensors, places of placing sensors on the human body, the best way to measure the indicators we need.

greetz,

Herman

New students

Hello,

Today two new students join the group. The students are from the medical department. This week we are busy with the design of clothing for the sensor and too find out how we connect one sensor too a central processing unit. Later more.

Herman

First week

The first two weeks we analyse the information from the earlier groups of "Hartfalen en Revalidatie" (Dutch for "Hart failure and Revalidation"). From this analyse we write a rapport about what we have to do (Method of working / plan van aanpak). The documentation will be written in Dutch.

That are the plans for last and this week.
